The Ted Bundy netflix movie sucks

Phil Collins daughter has that Ariana Grande thing where she still looks like a high school junior even though she's 30 in real life.
They don't even show a Bundy murder until the very end of the film. Thumbs down.

Noted.

Anything I've read about it prepared me for it to be a piece of shit, so thanks for sparing me.
1 OkaySeriouslyBro 2019-05-05
There's a scene where Bundy and Phil Collins 30-going-on-15 daughter visit an animal shelter, and a dog won't stop barking at Ted!
Because the dog knows he's evil! More than she can! Doggos can sniff the evil in a human being, yes they can!
1 RoliMosimann 2019-05-05
That's fucking retarded. A dog will run right up to someone prepared to kill it with a hammer. If they could sniff out evil, we wouldn't have juries, they'd just have court-appointed poodles.
1 OkaySeriouslyBro 2019-05-05
A serial killer doesn't enter an animal shelter and have all the animals start barking at them, that's such cliche shit.
1 RoliMosimann 2019-05-05
It's cliche for a movie about vampires or ghosts, I don't think I've heard of a movie doing something as dumb as having domestic animals sense the presence of a serial killer.
1 Christopher_Barton 2019-05-05
Not a movie, but Dexter pulled this bullshit, too.
1 ElFaporino 2019-05-05
exactly. I have had dogs that would probably beg for food as someone was robbing my house
1 1073WAAF 2019-05-05
When I was a kid, we got a dog and it bit my stepdad. He just dug a hole and called her over next to it and shot her in the head so she fell right in.
1 DentureChomp1488 2019-05-05
And then your friend fell out of the closet laughing and the tape broke.
1 1073WAAF 2019-05-05
Why, is that an unbelievable story or something? I grew up on a farm. My stepdad was constantly euthanizing things with rifles.

There’s nothing like a story about a dog getting shot to upset Reddit users
1 SpeckofCoppah 2019-05-05
One might rather suggest schnoodles.
1 MrStealYourVape 2019-05-05
In all seriousness, did you see that video of Elliot Rodger going for a walk in the park, and a lady's walking her dog, and the dog starts barking at him uncontrollably? And the lady says, "sorry, he's not normally like this."
1 LarryKleist711 2019-05-05
I'd say the dog could sense his
autismsupreme gentlemaness though, not "evilness".1 MrStealYourVape 2019-05-05
It was jealous of the true alpha dog
1 theZenImpulse 2019-05-05
Elliot Roger was a Hollywood psyop
1 McGowan9 2019-05-05
The dog probably thought the demi-gook was going to eat it
1 Jungies 2019-05-05
I know people like to think they (or animals) can magically detect evil; but the bottom line is nobody can look at Patrick and tell he fucks kids.
Wait, who are we talking about?
1 hoos885 2019-05-05
Actually, something very similar to this (hence why they included it) did in fact happen. Only it was Ann Rule’s dog. Ann said that every time Ted leaned over her desk towards her, her dog would go nuts barking at him. She said that it seemed very odd to her because the dog loved everyone.

/u/OkaySeriouslyBro - Why did you ban my parody account?
1 Opprobriousness 2019-05-05
Put a spoiler alert in the title next time, asshole. I haven't seen it yet and now I know he murdered someone. Thanks.

Thanks Obama

Saw the Roman Polanski doc and the rape wasn't until the end and they didn't even do a reenactment. Netfagz
1 MrStealYourVape 2019-05-05
Are off screen murders implied, or is it like My Friend Dahmer where it's Bundy's life before serial killing?
1 OkaySeriouslyBro 2019-05-05
Nah, it follows Bundy during/after the killings.
But it follows Bundy and his girlfriend, where he declares his innocence and she looks like she's late for 10th grade social studies.
At the very end they show one murder, and even then it sucks.
1 senselessdegenerate 2019-05-05
Did he at least dig her up to comb her hair?
1 Odbshaw 2019-05-05
This is one of the major points of the movie. Since EVERYONE knows he’s a murderer and is guilty of all these unspeakable crimes, it would just be exploitation to film those scenes. If you want blood and guts, this certainly isn’t the movie for you; but I’d argue that a film like that of Bundy all these years later would be totally disrespectful. The movie is all about the line between good and evil, the mask of sanity, and trying to redeem the memory of Bundy’s victims by exploring the subject through the lens of Elizabeth, a victim in her own way. So yes, the murders are almost entirely implied, but though I thought I wanted to see Zach Efron go berserker mode in a FSU sorority, the honest truth is the audience is better off being spared that indignity and instead forced to look inward, to confront not what makes me different from Bundy the monster, but what makes me similar to Bundy the human-Bundy the boyfriend-Bundy the promising student. The movie asks the audience to confront how we would react if the one we loved was a monster or consider how one would struggle to fight off their demons for those we love. I really like how the movie presents a nihilistic, honest point of view. Sometimes love doesn’t conquer all. Sometimes in life our human flaws are too heavy to bare. I know this is a lot of introspection and deep philosophical mumbo jumbo for a Zach Efron movie about one of the wildest American pop culture figures ever, but if you can reprogram your mind on what to expect and what perspective to take away-I really believe you will come away agreeing that sometimes Norman Bates is more exciting than Patrick Bateman. Or at the very least, more thought provoking.

I wanna see the rape movie
1 JMueller2012 2019-05-05
I’m sick of Zac Efron thinking he’s funny and being in 4 comedies a year
1 J0n3zing 2019-05-05
The bad wigs on everyone! Sheeeeezus
1 KisoRiverNippon 2019-05-05
Why did they spin him in a negative light? Biased assholes
1 Poo-U 2019-05-05
I’m into true crime, but when it turns into glorification or deliberately obfuscates (making a murderer), it’s gross. Fuck this movie I haven’t seen, I’ll take your word for it.
1 Dennyislife 2019-05-05
Isn't glorification at all. Its just a bad angle to base a film from I guess
1 TriangleDimes 2019-05-05
The angle is showing the mind of a sociopath and how he twists everything and everyone around him. The whole point is to show how he played everyone and by us not seeing the murders we are in the same position as the jury and everyone else, we can't actually visually connect him to the deed
1 Dennyislife 2019-05-05
If it wasn't a true story I would be s good idea but its kinda like Titanic...we know the boat sinks
1 WineDineShootMyNine 2019-05-05
Check out the other movie about Bundy, called Ted Bundy. The whole thing is on YouTube and it's not bad.
The one scene where he kidnaps two women out in the woods and rapes one while the other screams is great
1 McGowan9 2019-05-05
I liked the scene where he gets his girlfriend to play dead in the bedroom
1 WineDineShootMyNine 2019-05-05
She was so judgemental in that moment. What a prude.
1 Dennyislife 2019-05-05
Turns out making a film from the POV of a clueless and then slightly in denial girlfriend isn't that interesting. Especially when they split up so it kind of just goes into the trial but there is zero jeopardy as we all know he is guilty & gets sent down.
1 stephenpaddock59 2019-05-05
Bundy doco is so much sadder, seeing how fucking hot some of those bitches were
1 TurningFrogsGay 2019-05-05
Shoulda got James Deen to play Bundy.
1 TriangleDimes 2019-05-05
It's a good movie. People complaining about it not being gruesome enough are stupid fags.
1 Adamg20186 2019-05-05
I liked the 2002 version.
1 RedSaucin 2019-05-05
It was great, Zac Efron took the role well. You must be blind.
