Remember when the Sopranos' writers basically called us morons for supporting their show for a decade and expecting an actual ending? Most "artists" are pretentious little cunts who assume everything they touch is solid gold.

The sopranos ending was truly the biggest cop out of any hit show ever. They couldn't find a way to please or shock the audience so they went the lazy route. "Find your own meaning maaaaaaan". This is why I still think Breaking Bad is the #1 TV show ever. They had a plan and they knew how to end it.

I just finished Boardwalk Empire and I think that show has one of the better endings. Perfectly fit the tone and themes of the show and gave Nucky exactly what he deserved.

"The Walking Dead" and "Breaking Bad" were both on the chopping block because AMC didn't have a lot of money to spend and "Mad Men" was their priority.

Due to this, the writers of "Breaking Bad" basically wrapped up the story with Season 4. That's why Season 5 feels like it's "tacked on" to the end, because it is.

I'd say that Breaking Bad is probably the best TV show of all time IF you just skip season five entirely.

In that context, I think the last episode of season four might be one of the best endings to a movie or TV show ever. It was just really satisfying, it really felt like Walt might not make it. And Gus Fringe is an amazing villain, right up there with Darth Vader.

For what it’s worth, I loved Breaking Bad, I just think it wrapped itself up too nicely. But I’m also the kind of homo who likes ambiguity in my art, maaaaaaaan.
