The first one is a perfect movie in my book. And the second one is so fun. I love how one is a straight up horror film and the other is a straight up action movie.
People got their gripes with it. But this is kinda similar to why I like Predator and Predators.
It’s always good though to revisit the Alien films after a while, forget just enough of the plot to enjoy the ride of the films again. The first one especially.

Yeah, it was written by Shane Black (Hawkins in the 1987 movie, writer of Lethal Weapon/Last Boy Scout/Kiss Kiss Bang Bang/The Nice Guys etc) and he always writes funny snappy dialogue.
I've never enjoyed the second movie as a whole for some reason, but there are parts of it that are fantastic. Love the first movie, and it's been so long since I've seen the others.
