Danny real shit Ive been listening to every broadcast bc it helps pass the time at work and the one where they played your bombs came up. Pine box set deserved a better response, but your bones/sickbay line gave me aids.

That being said I think you got too much shit for bombing when the rest of the staff were real bona-fide yawners.

There was never any real Nicky beef. The whole thing was orchestrated by Sam & Kenny. Nicky and I smoked it out at a Primus gig and everything was chill ever since.

Pine box set might have been regarding some Brady bunch release. Either way im sure you can at least take solace in knowing virtually everyone from the show ended up being a bum as well as had their fans eat them alive like they should have years prior.

Glad to see you're back in high spirits (not like you ever left ^{meh nyeh meh.)} and it's always nice to get some juicy gossip every now and then.

Last thing, do you have anything good to say about Opie or about anyone from the show the fans seemingly hate?

Opie isn't the worst dude in the world, he's just very thin skinned and unfunny. He equates his success with success at humor and his ego can't reconcile that. Even if you don't like the guy, and I don't, you can at least respect his ability to emote on the air. Most of the time he was emoting like a child, but there were a lot of real moments that were only real because he let it go there on his own. You can always diffuse by taking a call or heading to break, so those moments where that didn't happen are where he shined.

I always enjoyed his candor, especially when you compare it to ants "keep em laughing come on keep em laughing, no real moments let's keep the laughs rolling" and for all his faults Opie was right about radio (and media at large) being so calculated and constructed when should be a focus on people being people and saying what people want to say.

Fast forward 10 years and Joe Rogan has built an empire off that same idea and podcasts are bigger than sliced cheese.

That's why I always loved bullshit and drama. If a fight is going to happen, let it happen on air. That's what people want to listen to. Not some behind closed doors bullshit. I've been on both the winning and losing end of that but I'd prefer it be on air. People want real. That shit is real.

I was listening to Artie laugh at Mike Walker's fart today. Artie on Stern was the best radio ever.

Artie and Crystal Clear, when they went to Vegas, when he was with Dana, and his interactions with Gilbert Gottfried and Beetlejuice were hysterical. Even his fight with Teddy (bloomies) was funny.

Artie losing his shit to the old lady porno drop by Fred is one of my favorite clips.

There used to be a clip where he loses his shit to Eric the Midget yelling "SHADDUP!" one of my favorites.
