Are the Moriarty or Miley Cyrus ones any good? I liked Bandersnatch.

My problem was not with the homosexuality, but with the shit logic.

So there's a sex VR game, you match up with someone who chooses a hot female character and fuck her virtually, feeling her tits, ass, pussy, the whole shindig. Are you really going to give a shit about the person pretending to be the female character? They're probably going to be a dude, but if you're lucky you'll get an obese gamer girl. That's the tradeoff of free video game sex.

The shit logic is this I tried it with other people, there was a guy in Holland who came close, but it's only special with YOU bullshit. Oh, didja? You fucked thousands of other strangers and need to come stalk your best friend because you need him to fuck you again? Awful.

Brooker’s apparent optimism now that he’s in a relationship etc has really hurt how bleak the show used to be.

It’s a shame because the older episodes just had a giant “fuck you” tone underneath and now I just can’t tell wtf it is.

I agree it has been hurt a bit, but I don't even think it needs to be bleak as fuck to be good. somewhere between that and the rom-com endings we got here (and in hang the dj last go-round) would be fine.

I don't think the story/endings is really what matters in a lot of them, hence a lot of the episodes give us no real clarity on the fate of the main characters. It's more the allegorical implications of the way our world is going that are what stand out in it. The plots and characters are really just a framework for that. They've predicted a British PM having sex with a pig and that batshit crazy Chinese social media ranking system which is what makes watching it more terrifying. sometimes Brooker ain't entirely making this shit up.

It's not that he's in a relationship. He was married to Konnie Huq and had kids when the first two seasons of Black Mirror were made. The problem is that it's on Netflix, not C4, and it's aimed at an American audience and a particular one at that (SJW/Hollywood friendly.) Hence the occasional happy endings and the Benetton advert casts and hedonistic/sodomitical themes.
