Ruiz looks like a tub of shit but he's got good hands and is dangerous in the pocket. Joshua is a limited boxer who looks like he spent the last year getting ready for a Mens Health cover shoot rather than 12 rounds. He had all the muscles but looked gassed after the fourth round. It's debatable that the ref should've stopped it when he did but Joshua spat out his mouth guard, kept looking at his corner, didn't answer when asked if he was ok to continue and generally looked like he'd had enough. Wilder would fuck him up, Fury is a better boxer than both of them and he looked like a man who got found out. He got a bit lucky against a way past his prime Klitschko and has basically fought bums until that and Ruiz. The media and other celebs all jumped on the bandwagon because he's a handsome dude and media-friendly but he's not a great boxer at all.

I don't think he's built to be a boxer. He likes the rewards of boxing. But doesn't actually enjoy the sport.

Absolutely. It's a feature he shows in every fight practically. Like you said, no one enjoys getting punched in the face but fighters respond to it aggressively. You saw the difference between them. Ruiz gets knocked down, he gets up and is straight back in Joshua's face looking to spark him out. Joshua gets knocked down and he looks like he'd rather be anywhere else.
