That isn’t true. Patrice, Louie, Colin, and Bobby would call in all the time to interject on bits when they weren’t even in studio. And they weren’t the best of friends or anything, but Opie and Anthony would occasionally hang out with them outside the studio. The only one who truly hated their guts and was only in for exposure was Bill Burr.

Anthony had said on his shitty podcast that once Bill Burr left the studio they never talked. Makes sense. Once Bill started to blow up he did the show like twice. When Louie got famous he clearly made it a point to make way more appearances than he needed to.
My favorite Norton on the road story is when he was traveling with Dice and every time he tried to hit on a girl Club Soda Kenny would walk over and slap him in the face.
Jim told this story as though it was just two buds palling around on the road.
