I noticed yesterday, his Twitter did have a verified check. Kind of stumped me. Twitter doesn’t have a hard and fast policy on how they give those out. You can’t just say, “I’m famous, gimme.” There are legitimately famous people who don’t have them. I can’t believe he got one. Can’t imagine how he convinced Twitter he was worthy. Were people setting up fake accounts in his name?
They have a form and, yes, you can ask, but they don’t give them out just because you ask. I’m searching for it now, but I read an article about this or long ago. There are a bunch of C-List celebs pissed off they can’t get verified.
