Other than that? I think I generally prefer your style to his because I don't get the sense that you're trying to make your subject laugh or plug your work the way Sam has Porsalin's. (A documentary trying to link Sam to Primates isn't anything Sam is going to lose sleep over, which is why he plugged it.)
This, however, is a documentary I can't imagine Ant voluntarily driving traffic to while laughing appreciatively. It's too cringe for him. That's how you know it's good.

This is also the first time that I actually watched the clip and had the same reaction. Anthony got nothing going on. Ron trying to walk him through hosting his own show is so fucking pathetic. 20+ years in radio and he locks up like a deer in the headlights at the hint of confrontation. Anthony's stupid, jittery, nervous energy worked fine on the radio as the funny sidekick but he really can't cut it as a host when the camera is on him. All it has done is expose all of his glaring flaws.
Yeah, it's not just that he's ugly. Gerard Depardieu is ugly. Gene Hackman is no Adonis. But they're comfortable on front of a camera and that gives them presence/charisma/whatever you want to call it. This is also the first time that I actually watched the clip and had the same reaction. Anthony got nothing going on. Ron trying to walk him through hosting his own show is so fucking pathetic. 20+ years in radio and he locks up like a deer in the headlights at the hint of confrontation. Anthony's stupid, jittery, nervous energy worked fine on the radio as the funny sidekick but he really can't cut it as a host when the camera is on him. Yeah, it's not just that he's ugly. Gerard Depardieu is ugly. Gene Hackman is no Adonis. Honest thoughts? Love the intro, but 3 minutes is pushing it (cut that down to 60 seconds next time). Also, I prefer Porsalin's voice; yours sounds a little less polished and a bit more nervous (but that will come w/ time and experience).
Other than that? I think I generally prefer your style to his because I don't get the sense that you're trying to make your subject laugh or plug your work the way Sam has w/ Porsalin's. (A documentary trying to link Sam to Primates isn't anything Sam is going to lose sleep over).
This, however, is a documentary I wouldn't voluntarily drive traffic to if I was its subject. That's how you know it's good. I'm only 10 mins in, but looking forward to the rest later.

I think your greatest talent is your ability to weave in every interesting event in a narrative way that gives the whole thing a sense of continuity, which keeps it watchable from beginning to end, while being funny.
