Great doc but hopefully you learned to take your time and get everything right the first time before announcing a release that couldnt be delivered on time and then had to be fixed. Like I said before, what makes these funny isn't the fiction we can come up with; but the reality of his situation.
I'll return to this later and fast-forward to the legitimate stuff -- assuming there's still any left to find -- but I'm getting the feeling you're trying to make Sam laugh instead of making him cry. That his plan of complimenting your work to defuse it is working.
If someone made a doc about me being a monster who eats children at night, I'd laugh it off too, maybe even share it, because it's patently absurd. But if they made one about the true embarrassing moments of my life, I'd cringe and avoid it.
