But would we want it? All 3 guys aren't the same guys they were even 2 years ago. Opie's all pc/serious dj now, Jimmy is going more serious comedian to help his career and Anthony is mostly political. The only one that could go back to his OnA type Ant.. But the tension would be fantastic.. The fake apology to each other would only work for a bit. Wouldn't take long to have Opie going "don't go there.. Really wanna do this?" And Anthony just unloading on him.. He'd no longer walk on Greggshells not that he made it known that he was walking on Greggshells.

I was just wondering out loud if we'd get it, wanting it or not. You think they'd ever hit individual rock bottoms enough to consider it. It would be the apex of cringe radio, for sure. Again, I'm still amazed by this collective of assholes who are still here every week dedicated to spitting venom at a show we absolutely loved.

For many of us, the show was just another part of their day. The sun comes up and I listen to Opie and Anthony. I was hooked the first day they aired on WJFK in DC. That was short lived, but I held out and got a MyFi and listened to the show religiously until it's demise. I could probably count on one hand the times I actually missed the show. None of us saw that ending coming either. I think we all figured they would get fired together or at the very least limp things out until a retirement.

Ant getting fired and Jim and Op going on was probably the absolute fucking worst outcome that could have happened for us. Ant and Jim still at Sirius I think is a show most of us would still listen to and enjoy.

I just want to hear Opie cry on air one more time. That's all I want in life.

Ya know, I listened to the Ant Birthday show with Patrice around 07-08 (find it under Even His Black Friends Are Racist) - pretty good show, and I'll give Opie a bit of credit, he's not THAT bad that day, manages even to get a good line on Tom Chiusano - but the moment they bring up Chauncey and the Post with the infamous Bam Margera fucked his girl - while vaguely talking about it, no less - it stops the show dead.

The lady has never grasped how to keep a flow, except during his monthly.

Opie's so unfunny, that whenever he says something slightly amusing you remember it. I liked it when Jimmy said something like: "There's something about Yellow Submarine (song) that really appeals to me" then Opie goes: "What? It's shaped like a penis?" That was probably the only instance I remember of Opie getting a big laugh out of the guys like that.
