I think for the first month Opie might get some good comedic guests, but very soon they will only be doing Jim's show. That might send Opie over the top and he'll quit to become a fisherman.

The A and B listers (and really many C listers) they can't do Jim's show because its SJW poison and then its also 'middle-america' poison. They don't need conversations with him saying 'Tranny fucked me for 1000 a night'.

Opie on the other hand, being Mr. Management's safely lame overglorified board operator will be too safe and full for any of the comics who actually need a little crazy 'morning zooish' foul language edge to keep their reputations going.

Why would any comic do Opie's show? Norton was the one that got Amy, Bill, Louis, Patrice, all the other guys on.
