Opie will eventually come on Ant's show and they'll awkwardly talk about how people have this misconception that they hate each other. They'll spend most of the interview trying to prove that they're fine with each other and it will be terrible.

They've been out of each other's lives and not even on a friendly basis probably since Opie got engaged. They haven't been off-air friends for at least 6 or 7 years. They likely resented and hated one another for a good long time but they put up with it for a juicy paycheck. You know Opie hates Ant for blowing up his gig and you know Ant hates Opie for re-christening it OpieRadio, lying about Ant wanting to "do his own thing" and not communicating with him like a professional. It would be spectacular cringe radio for these polar opposites in talent and lifestyle to pretend that they are not disgusted by each other.

Opie says he loves uncomfortable moments. I cannot imagine anything more uncomfortable than The Opster at The Compound trying to "recreate the magic" while they both fantasize about murdering the other guy.

I don't understand why you feel you can talk for Anthony Cumia. He isn't dead, he isn't disabled. He's a fully grown man that can speak for himself.

But I think he'll still continue to throw subtle/passive aggressive jabs at Opie, or try to make inside jokes that none of us fans will get and only a small few in his inner circle will. Either way, Opie wouldn't be smart or bright enough to even understand he's being buried or made fun of.

I dont think anthony is some classy guy thats trying to keep the peace, i dont even understand why would he start a fight with opie they dont seem to have any connection now.

And besides after 20 years of sticking toguether they probably have some pretty horrible shit to tell to each other.

And anthony is not a confrontational guy hes really passive. I can see some passive agressive comments about opie, and some nasty opie hate callers going trough in his show but thats all.

NDA's have to be signed part of a contract before it starts, not after - and neither of them would ever sign a contract with an NDA, or their agent allow it.

A company can insist all they want, but what matters is the other party signs off on it. It's not a guarantee.

Besides, if there were an NDA in place, Anthony would have been in violation of it many times since being fired.

He got fired in an email. I don't think there was a severance or NDA involved. Maybe if his lawsuit gets settled there will be something in place but that will likely be about the terms of the settlement. I don't think Ant will ever sign something saying he can't talk about his former employer.

Anth would never say anything that bad about Opie. He might be tempted to call him shitty at radio, but I'd think less of Anth if he actually said anything. We don't have the obligation to be loyal to Opie that Anth has. He looks at his harem of 17-24 year old 6 and a half's, his long island guinea palace, the fact that he has a job where he walks downstairs and makes jokes/commentary for 2 hours, and he realizes that he likely would've withered in obscurity were it not for the former host of the Nighttime Attitude picking him up and putting him on the radio.

Even if they didn't get along in the end, it's not like Opie got Anth fired. Also, if they weren't getting along, it certainly didn't make its way to air like it has in the past. They seemed pretty good with each other towards the end. If I were Anth, I'd just sit and loff at these wonderful posts, as he probably does right now.
