Subscriptions are a race to the bottom, they will continue to produce better content and at the same time get cheaper as more competition comes in. Cum Town did it right with their Patreon model, Compound did it the worst way possible.
Compound figured out a foolproof business model -- as listeners dwindle or expenses increase, simply raise subscription price. This makes up for any lost revenue from shoes leaving, etc.
