I remember when I was in high school around the peak of my O&A fanboy years, I heard Jimmy’s standup for the first time and was shocked at how unfunny it was.
It was that HBO special where he shouted out Opie and Anthony, and Anthony did that gay little wave thing. It was like listening to Rogan do stand up. They pump up their acts for hours and hours on their shows, and when you finally hear them do it, you can’t believe how much it sucks.
