Remember when Jim tried to extol the artistic virtue of Black Sabbath by saying nobody else was making songs about space before "Iron Man."

Iron Man came out in 1971. Space Oddity by David Bowie came out in 1969.

Also, Iron Man isn't about space, its about time travel.

The dopey things Jimmy says about his so-called "favorite band" seriously makes me wonder if he genuinely enjoys their music at all. I have never once heard him talk about Black Sabbath's music and individual albums in anything but very general terms. "It's still cool"..."I like them all"..."they started it all, man"...it's all just generalities. He never discusses the individual albums or songs or the differences and similarities between them, never talks about the production values or the tone and never critiques anything either. "Master Of Reality is heavier but I like the warmer guitar tone on Volume 4"..."I love the band but Never Say Die is a real piece of shit"..."Parts of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath are sort of poppy and gay"...you never hear him say things like that, things that serious die-hard fans will endlessly discuss.

Pointing this out makes his blue in the face, "die on my fucking shield" tantrum in this video all the more disgusting and hilarious.

To be fair he's also a complete fucking nitwit, and likely couldn't articulate why he liked certain albums or songs. Just that he did like them.

I've had this same thought - he's 100% into them because when he was a little molested boy who fancied himself "dark", he thought Ozzy's persona was the height of cool. Any opinions on the actual music are opinions he's formed just so he can offer some words when asked about his obsession.

After "loving" them for over 30 years, any encyclopedic knowledge he has is just about Ozzy's personal life, but Jim has never spoken with anyone who's capable of discussing music (and especially Sabbath) on a level deeper than his surface-level takes so people just take him at his word. I refuse to believe that someone could possibly like ANY music as much as Jim claims to love Black Sabbath without being able to name more than 2 bands he likes at the age of 50.

I remember that when Colin was defending The Who against Jim, all Jim could do was say he didn't like them and say the words "rock opera" in a mocking tone. Jim also mocked them for what they wore on stage even though his other favorite band is fucking Kiss, who he has even less to say about musically (because they offered nothing of interest).

His Ozzy superfandom is another good example. Sure, he knows all the biographical facts about Ozzy and his various wild antics but you never hear him actually talking about his solo discography, how he rates Ozzy's various guitar players or any relatively unknown "deep cuts" he favors. He just "loves Ozzy" because he's "a legend man". Ditto with Kiss. Believe it or not, regardless of how gay they are big Kiss fans know the discography inside out and will go on and on about which Ace tune is the best or which Gene tune is the best. With Jimmy, though, he just "likes" them. He doesn't seem all that interested in the music, he just embraced the personas behind it.

Germ Nordegren has only ever had one true passion. Edging for hours and hours to images of confused young men and mythical heroes of Nordic legend.

Iron Man was a science fiction story about someone who tries to save everyone from destruction but because they relentlessly mock him he ends up causing their destruction.

Opie is Iron Man.

Iron Brotherman

Jimmy only ever talks about Sabbath's major hits, when there's plenty of great songs that really show their showcase their talent... This, to me, proves he's not really a fan, just a faggot.

Remember when he said he didn't like Crazy Train? Because it was too popular and even the "normies" know the song? Tad ironic idn't it?

Iron man is cool when you hear it for the first time and you’re 10. Jim’s a poser

He claimed with all sincerity that U2 ripped them off because Sunday Bloody Sunday is a ripoff of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

...that song was about space?

I thought it was about a time traveling man? When does it mention space?
