He's one of those rubes that the headstock saying "Gibson" is more important than anything else (but people like Joe can't afford it), so instead of a decent Epiphone (or whatever other brand, there are dozens of good ones), he gets a $200 piece of shit that is technically not even allowed to be imported under the laws against counterfeit goods.
But it says "Gibson" and has the moustache headstock. Sure, it's made of plywood but "Jimi" and "Edge" played guitars with "Gibson" on it, so good ol' slow Joe blows his money on junk yet again.
