But Mets fans are a special kind of stupid. I can't explain it because theirs is a special kind of cognitive dissonance, fortune telling what the managers need to do and owners should do despite no track record of success or ambition.
I'm sure every fanbase has those types, but when you're forced to ride a train with Mets fans, you start to hope for catastrophic brake failure.
