SCORCH'S studio AUDIENCE is becoming like the audiences of BILL MAHER, JON STEWART, and STEPHEN COLBERT. They want to remind the HOST how funny he is so they laugh at everything that comes out of his MOUTH.
SCORCH is definitely very FUNNY, but all the laughter makes it very hard to hear what he is SAYING. Maybe they need to do something with the MICS to reduce how much LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE LIVE ON LOCATION audience response is picked up.

Gotta punch up the humor with a laugh track, otherwise the audience at home won't know when to laugh.
