Artie is basically everything they tell you not to be in recovery. He's doing interviews, making comments, doing photo-ops and having PR articles written about his recovery - as if a few months sober is anything to be proud of.

The whole fucking point of recovery is to try and kill, or lessen your ego. Artie cares more about getting in the news than he does actually recovering. When you're in your first 3 years you should basically just sit down and shut the fuck up, take the punch in the mouth that comes with fucking up your entire life up until that point.

Rather, he's going around bragging about how awesome it is to have a nose that makes him look like a coral reef fish because it's a 'reminder' of how bad it was. Dude, do you really need a reminder? The shame and guilt you must have should be enough.

Artie has built his life on the idea that doing shitloads of drugs and drinking is like this really masculine, cool thing to do. It's what high school kids and guys like Gavin and Anthony think too, then they end up old and gross looking with wet brain, which is why I think Anthony is so retarded now.

Take a lesson from the Opester and go down to the beach and have a fuckin moment. Meditate, get your head right. You're a grown man. I hope him and Anthony drink themselves to an early, painful death.
