Well, thanks to the Mekotur stuff, it's actually spreading. Entirely new large communities are thrilled to learn of this "political firebrand" that is so thin-skinned, he escalates every encounter with trolls instead of walking away. Apparently, he's just not going to stop until this becomes what he's best known for: the guy who will meltdown and obsess with trolls, the one thing most guaranteed to make them multiply.

Well, technically, the person who takes a photo owns it in the absence of any other legally binding agreements, so it being his personal photo means he does have the legal right to request it be taken down. Honestly, I'm glad. The idea of him now lurking in multiple subs and filing DCMA takedowns is hilarious.
Right. A DMCA from Patrick is basically an admission that it got to him, which is better than any up votes or comments I could've gotten. I know he saw it. I know he couldn't roll it off his back. I know he wasted time filing a DMCA.
It's like when he takes pictures of shit I post and says "Look at what these guys are doing OMG, child! I've uncovered a massive conspiracy! " on his blog, not realizing that that's way more entertaining than any other feedback I could've gotten.
