I can’t even imagine the sort of person that would listen to them at this point. When the used to jocktober other shows, I was able to visualize the fans of those shows. I can’t think of what a J&S fan is.
It’s all so unlistenable. They all give the blandest takes on everything. I would seriously rather listen to hack local radio. Jim was never known for being informed, but at least he would go for the offensive joke on the old show. Dude is totally castrated now.
Mark and Joe both know how to put their toes on the line without ruining their careers. Neither Jim or Sam have any idea. Shane Gillis would have been fine if he didn’t go to SNL now.
Of the two, Sam bothers me more. He's just really neurotic and entitled- I don't think he can help being what he is. And I think that Jim knows what a piece of shit he is, at least on a subconscious level.
Sam, on the other hand, is deliberatively shitty to other people, and appears to relish in it.
