The writing is abysmal, but not as bad as him changing the context of his dead friends words.

"Patrice took the challenge to heart, carrying the aspirations of all 2 million of the city of Manhattan's black residents on his back... As we headed into game seven, Patrice half-assuredly declared, 'I'm gonna pull this out for the niggers.' He'd seen this pattern play out countless times before, but continued deluding himself into believing the underdog could secure an upset this time. When that streak of yellow slowed to whisk me to the nearest putsch, Patrice had a familiar look of relaxed, confident resignation on his face. 'That's some foul shit, Ant, was all he could muster."
This is legitimately the most poorly written autobiography I have ever seen. Anthony describes things like a child would. "I did this and then I did that and then this happened and I was like this and then that and then and then and. Crazy shit!" It's so fucking redundant. There were TWO ghostwriters! How is this book so terrible?
