Been listening to clips of the Vos/Bonnie/Opie combination. Not sure if people can overcome their bias against Opie enough to see it, but he is pretty entertaining with those two. Both Vos and Bonnie keep Opie in check and bring out the best in him.
Hard to imagine him working with them permanently though, since he'd feel like a third wheel. Sucks.

I actually like Opie. Yeah, he does things that annoy me and it's fun to occasionally pitch in and dump on him like everyone else on reddit, but he's nowhere near a radio cancer as everyone says. Vos and Bonnie, on the other hand, are, in my opinion. Bonnie isn't that funny and interrupts more than Opie does. Vos gets off a few good lines but I can't stand stand stupid people. They might be friends off air, but just like Florentine, having them on so much exposes them as being much funnier in small doses.

Pick one and only one. 'The Opester' is basically an older version of Todd Pettengill. Does dumb voices and boy, does he love himself a good bit. I'll agree the Bonnie and Vos mean couple shtick wears off fast, but at least they can have a good back and forth with other comics without getting all sensitive when the table's turned on them, unlike some other folk on the program.
