I'm sure Opie has long since stopped reading r/OpieAndAnthony on account of how brutal it is, so lets try to give him some constructive advice on the off chance that he still reads this sub. Yes, we know: commit suicide, retire, get a gig a Viral Spiral, skate videos with Bam, etc. Let's try to actually help this fuck who gave us an awesome show for so long.
Personally, I think Ope needs to address the "haters" and what they're actually saying. Don't just dismiss them as whiny babies. That only makes them more hateful. If he'd just address them with some humility and honesty I think he'd win a lot of his fan-base back. People would get pissed with Ant and Jimmy sometimes, but since they address their foibles, they win us over.
It would also help if he entertained Jim's characters more. Currently Jim is in full serious mode because Ope doesn't play off his craziness. Without Jim being funny, the show isn't going to be funny.
Lastly, I think if he was more conscious of his stomping on people the show would improve. I don't know why he does it, but it grates the listeners. I'm not only talking about when he interrupts people by talking, but also when he bring on Lady Di/Roland/Bobo when funny things are happening. It just halts the funny and makes the listeners resent the fuck out of him.
That's all I got. I think you can do well without Ant, Ope. You just have to adjust yourself, due to how the dynamic has changed since Anthony left.
Please leave the hate out of this thread. r/OpieAndAnthony has mastered that already. I want Opie to feel like he can actually read this thread without it destroying his soul.

It's as simple as calming down.
You don't have to direct every conversation. You don't need to immediately blurt out whatever's on the top of your head to be involved. You don't need to steamroll other people to get to whatever horseshit you want to say.
Take a lesson from when you use to do run-ins on other shows like Ron & Fez or Special Delivery, lay back in the cut and let things happen. Chime in when you have something of substance. The show won't fall apart if you take a moment to think things out before talking.

We already tried to help this fuck, he told us to go fuck ourselves and made fun of us for years. Just maybe if 1000 people are saying the same thing, maybe, just maybe they may have noticed a character flaw in you that your personal bias (ego) could not comprehend?
Get Anthony back if you want to improve, if not start looking for a cheaper place in the suburbs.

Whenever Florentine is on Opie is very dismissive to Jimmy,which is so not cool. Opie's disgusting,weird ball lapping of Florentine is extremely uncomfortable to listen to. I've come to the conclusion there is no way there actually trying to make a show. There is just no fucking way this is serious. It can't be. I think you're missing the point. He does the show for his listeners, and his listeners aren't happy. Without us, there is no him. Not saying we "own" him, but if there's pretty much a unanimous consensus that the show blows now and we have reasons why it currently blows, we have every right to air our grievances on this glorious open forum we call the Internet. He can listen to us or not, that's his prerogative, but blatantly ignoring us and even blasting us is only going to piss us off, not just as listeners but as human beings.
Can you blame us? Many of us, including me, have been listening for many years and have enjoyed the show. Now that it's severely declined, we all want it to be great again (no matter how horrible we sound, deep down that's all we want). Is that such a bad thing?

That's a faulty argument. I do not have to be a movie director to judge if a film is worth watching or not, nor to have an opinion on what I think would be better for the movie. All it takes is to say "if he did this, I would have enjoyed it more."
