I never understood all the whining about windows updates until I got to win10. Every conceivable setting has them turned off and still my laptop just decides to download and install them as and when it likes. And "shut down" 9 times out of 10 actually means "go into some deep sleep mode then reopen a bunch of windows and programs I didn't tell it to when I switch back on". I cannot fucking stand not being in control of my own fucking property.
Computer's are made for people who are too stupid to own a computer nowadays. They're slowly removing all settings besides screen brightness and volume control. I never once had to edit the registry with past windows distros but its the only way to get it to do what you want. Fucking this does indeed suck
