When an author says "sure, I'm hardly objective, but this is the best thing I've ever written, folks" you have to pay attention to the casual disarming at the beginning.

Patrick is admitting he's hardly objective.

But in spite of that, he still thinks this is the best thing he's ever wrote. Five stars.
