I'm on the 3rd chapter of Just Desserts, the first book in the Starship Repo series by Will Tate, and it's pretty good so far. Mr. Tate seems to know that the key to communication is brevity. He doesn't waste too many words in his descriptions, giving the bare bones and letting the reader's imagination fill in the rest. He also lets his characters speak for themselves, letting their personalities and motivations come forth through their dialogue rather than ham-fisted exposition.
All-in-all, so far a compelling read, I highly recommend it.
I'm thinking the first one sucks you into the vast, vibrant world of Starship Repo series, and in the subsequent installments Mr. Tate slows things down to let you get to know the characters and their worlds.

We should play a drinking game where we do a shot every time patrick uses the words "alt-right" "incel" and "Reddit" in the next 24 hours.

Tomorrow would be the day to have somebody hang out in Hooligans if there ever was one.

We'll drink ourselves to death, and that is how Pat will finally beat the sub.

They're pretty short too. Not wasting my time like that fat retard and all his Drumpf and pop culture ripoff shit.
