If you schinkleboutit, no one has made it out unscathed. Opie is peddling his radio wares on a free podcast, Ant is at deaths door and facing bankruptcy, Jim is creatively bankrupt and riddled with AIDS, Sam sold his soul and shivved everyone in the liver just to get a morning raqio shift, E-Rock settled with Cumpound just to stay in the field he loves, Burr married an overbearing bitch, Louis sokd out and then get spit out, Patrice couldn't lay off the grape soda, and Steve C left us hanging with a violent sewercide.
Honestly, Paul Thomas Anderson couldn't have written better endings for these degenerates.

Ronny B turned out fine. And Fez is fucking boys in Florida while popping Xanax. The people who we all expected to capitulate, capitualted. We all knew Jim and Ant we're scumbags. But they were funny, so we forgot about it. Now that they aren't funny, we can't ignore the scumbaggery.

It was always going to be thus. Nobody involved, save for the Brothaman, ever seemed capable of maturing into something beyond the show... And even Opie couldn't grow up and make an entertaining show at the same time.

I know this isn't popular to say, but it does appear Opie has grown.
His show isn't really good, but I don't hate him anymore. I now understand, due to being in a similar circumstance, what he must've been going through. To try and keep a good thing together when your co-workers are sabotaging their own lives and it bleeds into work.

I regret the time I wasted listening to an objectively horrible piece of media. At this point, I can't even listen to shows where Patrice is on because because everyone else keeps chiming in with their shitty 2 cents. The fucking manufactured intern drama, Danny being a vitriolic cunt 24/7, the bitching about Howard and management any chance they get, the devolution into whiny little cunts whenever anyone criticized them, it's all fucking shit. Drunk Erock and the roasts are the only tolerable listens at this point, but I still get annoyed anytime either Opie, Anthony, or Jim speak.
