I've got some depressing news for you: That new comic movie is rated nearly as highly. These people don't just jizz when they see some piece of cheap racial/political agitprop they also can't help themselves when it comes to childish frivolities.
Why does everyone blame Rotten Tomatoes? They’re just the scoreboard. It’s the reviewers, not Rotten Tomatoes that cause the score to be high or low. The agenda lies with the Jewish reviewers in one gentrified neighborhood in Brooklyn who write 90% of the pop culture reviews, but not with Rotten Tomatoes itself.
Rotten Tomatoes has gone to complete fucking shit.
If you look at their list of the greatest movies of all time, Black Panther is #1 and Black KKKlansman is in the top 10. Even though the other movies on the list like Citizen Kane have higher Tomato scores, audience scores, and critic scores. It makes zero fucking sense.
I watched the movie and its no different from any other of those cheap generic horror movies. Cheap jumpscares, and then there's the whole "message" conveyed through ham- fisted symbolism
It's so GENERIC all around and it infuriates me that people apparently think there's more to it than that.
People get so hyped up when told to. Nobody will ever watch any of those movies more than once. They're generic and forgettable. I see some of these comic book movies, and at the end I'm like "ok that was fun", but a month later I can't remember anything about it.
We are going to make a movie about black africans who have more technology than anyone else in the world. What are they gonna do with it? They're going to beat the fucking shit out of each other to determine who the king is and they're going to throw spears all day.
They're gonna help some niggas from da hood, fuck the niggers losing their hands from digging for diamonds and shit in their own continent. We need to make white guilt urbanites feel good.
Black Panther and Wonder Woman were both serviceable for comic book movies, but are instantly forgotten once you leave the theater. They have the same quality of writing as Van Helsing or Elektra. It's insane to me that anyone has elevated them to anything above a copy and paste of any generic cgi filled film from 2003.

It makes me think if Orwell had any idea that his predictions of a dystopic nightmare would at all be a result of political correctness.

Anybody who goes to the theater to support anybody financially other than Vince Vaughn or Mel Gibson should be killed.

There are cheap 70's Kung-Fu flicks you can buy for a dollar in Harlem better than ANY of those films.

I can also only assume Brokeback Mountain is ahead of Goodfellas

Dances With Wolves was, and that was 30 years ago.

I liked Moonlight. Barry Jenkins is a good director. Ava Duvernay stinks though.

Get Out and Moonlight were good movies fwiw
