I actually agree with you. Most of the passionate critics of Islam in the West end up criticizing Islam for not being liberal enough. They seem to forget that, in many ways, Islam is actually doing a better job at being 'conservative' of their own values than they are.
However, there are much darker and nastier aspects of Islam that deserve to be criticized.
