The Publisher's Weekly editorial review is pretty rough:
Tomlinson’s unremarkable space opera
captained by “chauvinist parody” Cmdr. Maximus Tiberius
Tomlinson (the Children of a Dead Earth series) loads his story down with a plodding plot and bland characters but there’s enough action and broad humor to satisfy undemanding readers
Personally, I enjoyed Tomlinson's analogy of present day anti-generational protesters to the 20th century's Nazis, and the antagonists of his sci-fi universe.
Together, his books serve as a celebration of what contemporary liberalism will inevitably mean to acceptance of the final taboo of sexual relations - men of age with men not yet of age.
"Patrick S. Tomlinson is a man of many hats."- to quote jim norton i'd like his hat removed by a black gentleman
"in addition to writing Sci-Fi novels (Gate Crashers) and shorts, he prowls theaters, clubs, and bars throughout the midwest performing as a stand-up comedian"- i think they missed a word and forgot prowls for children.
"in the little downtime remaining, Patrick enjoys hobbies such as motorcycling, model-building, and shooting." god what a fucking bore of a man
"He lives in Milwaukee with his wife, two cats, a bearded dragon, and a 2008 Bullitt Edition Mustang named Susan." by bearded dragon they mean dragon dildo

Poor guy doesn't have a single review in Google ebooks store either! Shame.

Gosh, without any reviews, a few new reviews would have a lot of power on the star score.

"Prowls" is an odd word, maybe even more unsettling than his constant use of the word "child".

It's more like stalking rather than 'prowling'.

Guys that actually make six figure from selling books don't immediately go into writing another book after releasing one.

His wife set up an army of ghost writers to help him fill in any gaps.
