Well, if you'd watched every Half in the Bag like the rest of us, you'd be aware how Adam Sandler's comedy mainly consists of making fun of mentally or physically disabled people and ethnic or social minorities that would earn him "racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic" classifications today. And he's generally a retarded character in all of them. It's kind of all he ever did, as far as my news sources inform me, I haven't seen much of his later work.
I love Red Letter but that's such an ice cold take. The Waterboy is an actual hero who 'gets the girl'. So is Little Nicky. Does he sometimes do ethnic humour? Sure. So what? If you've got a problem with that you're a fag.
Saying he's played a 'bigoted retard' for decades is just pure silliness if you'll pardon my language.
He’s a shitty jew that makes shitty jew unfunny movies for retards. Jews can’t be bigots because of muh hollercast so (((sandler))) movies are allowed to carry on much like (((sasha cohen))) without ovening. 14/88 would not watch.
Man I just turned the TV on for the first time in several months. I was introduced to the discover card commercial with the annoying Asian chick. Off it goes again.
Turns out scoring high on SATs does not equal easy wealth accumulation so she has to borrow money just like the "stupid people people" until the university finally hooks her up with the scientist job she was destined to have.
Was SNL ever any good or is it just one of those shows that keeps going because its on? It never makes me laugh from the clips I have seen but even here in England people have heard of it even though I dont think its ever been shown here
Sometimes a bit will go viral but it just makes me cringe. I get its hard to do a live show every week with topical stuff but it comes across as fucking awful amateur rushed shit to me.
Lorne Michaels has said that most people think SNL was good only during the years they were in high school stuck at home alone on a Saturday night. But I also think the period of time you're talking about was the best, especially when you had the early 90s class breaking in while the later 80s class was getting ready to leave.
In the main desk lobby of my building at work, I caught a few glimpses of the sketches with no audio and just from reading the closed captions and reading their lips, looking at their shitball fucking acting, their low quality set design and low effort impressions of characters everybody knows it just made me think this is exactly what Adam Sandler deserves. Pete Davidson in particular looked like he was attempting to do a cute little Jimmy Fallon "I'm laughing so hard and trying to keep it together!" act that he wishes gets played in "Hilarious TV Moments!" clip show.

Only cogent answer

As long as it isn't political then I'd watch it. He's a big pro-Israel guy so I assume he doesn't hate Trump.

He doesn't hate trump.

The guy played a bigoted retard for decades. He won't go anywhere near a controversial political take if he knows what's good for him.

I'll admit I'm not entirely familiar with his entire body of work but I don't think I've ever seen him play a 'bigoted retard'. Where does he do that?

Hes a registered Republican and donated $2000 to Rudy Guiliani. Safe to say hes definently a Trump fan. Sandler is one of the good guys.

That’s not “safe to say”. Have you met any Hollywood Jews from New England? I have, and none of them are trump “fans”.

If a celebrity doesn't talk about politics or outright refuses to do so, it's safe to assume that tbey are libertarian or conservative.

Any non-poor person who did their taxes this year shouldn’t hate trump.

People keep asking that like Adam Sandler has been funny in the last 20 years.
1 billdipshitbellamy 2019-05-05
Yeah, dude, but 20 years ago he was funny!
1 TheElDan 2019-05-05
Hey if he did Tollbooth Willie, it would be the greatest episode in history.

Adam Sandler Netflix movies are gayer than Liberace's cum in a guys ass.
1 juschippinyababe 2019-05-05

Take a look at (I think) Yahoo, because they had a collection of "classic SNL skits".... and some of them are actually funny.
It looks like they only make 1-2 funny skits per year, though.
1 schmuckOnWheels 2019-05-05
Late 80s to mid 90s was when SNL was good. It's gone downhill ever since. I can't remember the last time I watched it.
