It's not a bit at all. You can see him leaning on fences and hiding behind people shouting at anti-pedophilia and anti violence protestors that they are Nazis and threatening them.
He retells it as a Nazi mob screaming Nazi propoganda.
The married couple in that story, two years or so ago their daughter had a confessional/accusatory book out about what her parents were up to. That was the spark for the protests.
He doesn't even dismiss their claims because he's too inferior at debate to actual come up with a believable alternative. He just tells a completely fabricated version of the events and dismisses any claims of it going differently. What a fucking dishonest dirtbag.

In reality, I've looked over video shot by both groups and Patrick is only ever seen leaning on a fence with his gut protruding, smiling, being ignored as he tries to talk, and smirking and making comments to the Antifa types he thinks he's a part of. He stands behind other people on purpose a lot, as you can see him shift position to do so.
Then when the cops show up and put up a barricade, he flees.
