One of my favorite memories from high school was studying Longfellow at one of my friend's houses...
His dad came in the room and said "easy way to remember who wrote "the midnight ride of Paul Revere" is to think of it this way....
The dude rode on a horse... horses have long dicks... fellow could be another name for a dick... LongFellow. You won't forget that!"
Funniest part about it was this was a hyper-Jew. He was literally the "dean" of a rabbinical school
