I'm not going to read all of what he wrote there but John Scalzi is something Patrick will never be as a writer: successful. The excerpts I've seen from Patrick's shit looks like he's trying to write like Scalzi.

There's a ton of pedophilia among sci fi authors. Patrick actually labeled a group protesting such authors as "Nazis" for their actions
