Your novel Children of the Divide features an alien race that doesn't fit into human gender categories. In the novel you did a good job of not using gendered identifiers or terms (except when indicating that human characters sometimes saw them through the lens of human gender dynamics), but I notice that the back of the book refers to "the kidnapping of a man's daughter" when the 'daughter' in question is one of these aliens. I know writers don't always get much input on things like plot descriptions, but I'm curious, did they discuss this with you and decided to go with that wording for a particular reason, or if not did you have any thoughts or reaction on finding out?

Honest answer? I didn't even catch that until you just pointed it out.
I would have had the copyeditor change that if I had. Still, the story is told with human preconceptions in mind, especially those of zer father. So, while wrong, it's not that far out of place for how a human audience would see the situation, only to be corrected as they read the sections of the book told from Benexx's point of view. So, all in all, I can live with the oversight.
I hope zer’s father gets space cancer for naming his child Benexx
I am from the future child, and this name “Benexx” is like the “nigger” of my culture
I'd like to clarify that listening to an audio book is in fact not reading. Its listening Pat, else every poor fuck who had to listen to prattle would be considered a reader.
You'll see those IAMA things for shit like "I got kicked by a horse once," or "One time I drank bleach as a child" and those will get like 100-200 replies. Patrick, a guy that purports to be a a famous scifi author, almost TV personality, and former twitter shit disturber, is less interesting than a guy who once got kicked by a horse.

No questions about his numerous alleged child sex crimes? That's a mite suspicious, partner.

His other AMA is mostly one user asking multiple questions.

No, being a nobody and posting an AMA and sitting in front of your computer waiting for the flood of replies and questions is a disaster.
While we're at it actually, Patrick himself is just a disaster.
