My Father's family's side was in Germany at the time. Jewish as well, during that horrible tragedy. We lived far apart and my Great Uncle took the honorable mission of searching for my Grandfather nearing the apex of the violence committed against the cities by the Allied forces.

He walked through blood in bones in the streets of Nuremberg trying to find his brother. Yeah. He was in Northern Canada.
