At the end of the episode, there was the whole “Well, it’s been 5 months of sobriety and I feel so, so, so much better!” Cue sad music, slow fade, “Ashley relapsed and died 2 weeks later of an overdose.” Vurrry tragic.
Addicts totally go out of their way to get anything for a fix. She was a hot cam girl/IG whore, so it was probably far easier for her to score from some follower who offered, though.
