Good examples of catch wrestling techniques in the UFC question
0 2019-04-23 by GKChestbrahson
I know Josh Barnett says his base is catch wrestling, but it seems to be fairly niche Style in MMA thus far. Everyone else seems to have a freestyle, folk style or Greco-Roman base.
I wrestled folkstyle in high school and I have my blue belt in BJJ, but I've been reading lately about catch wrestling and what it actually is and I'm pretty intrigued. are there any good fights that show catch wrestling as a style, in which we can see how different it is from BJJ or standard wrestling?
Or if not full fights, examples of catch as catch can wrestling submissions and moves unique to that style?

In my expert opinion, the best technique for grinding on guys is not doing it.
