I am so annoyed by Flaherty in this. I don't mind shitting on Ron, but I like the guy.
He was there, just being Ron, mildly sarcastic and condescending, that is why he was on the show.
Flaherty was there to frothing mouth angry rant about black crime.
Now I do believe in the 13% commits 50% of the crime stat that Flaherty is trying to expose, but he is not a good diplomat for that message.
To have Ron there was a big booking fuck up because Colin is the type of guy we would fucking troll for months. Ron is a lot like us, he can smell a mark from a mile away, carnies and rubes.
I watch this every time I see it because of how hard hitting Ron is towards Anthony. It’s brutal, accurate, and has a level of insightfulness only a close friend could have.
I wonder if I was ever put into Ant’s position and a close friend would say something like that to me, how deeply hurt I would be, and if I would change at all as a result.
