They both would have had a pretty good following. Everyone was hoping someone would get nasty. Neither side tried to profit of the one subject fans really wanted to hear about, even in Ants book...nothing. Nobody gives a fuck now.
Instead it was all passive aggressive jabs, a T-shirt nobody bought, and a character podcast with inside jokes about opie. The few shows that addressed it was pity party for opie, Jim playing it safe and not picking a side, and Ant never quite committing to verbally undressing him.
Just stop taking shots at him if they arent going to commit to it.
