Collected a total 18k posts, but for now I limited the display to posts that scored 50+ upvotes. That's about 3.4k.

Since I'm using free hosting (credit card info = subpoena), the app loads a bit slow at times. Sorry about that.

Nice work brotherman. Fyi find some foreign hosting and you can use prepaid cards, paypal etc.

Yes, if I should add more to the site, I might have to switch. But I would want to find some hosting service that provides python.

I was thinking about recreating the old sub. The data is all there on PushShift.io. Except for media files that are hosted on reddit itself, nearly everything could be restored. People could even use their old usernames on a new sub if they still have the original account on here for verification.

Would take lots of hours, but seems feasible. Not sure if it's worth trying, though, considering how the forum went down.

the forum went down because it was too open for abuse. I think if you make it closed and invite-only then ban anyone for posting anything illegal it .....could work.
