I'll give you this: Polonius does appear to be very upset by the description but the word he's upset by is 'beautified' which sounds like he's angry that Hamlet is telling her she's all tarted up like a Friday Night Fun Job. Sophetic sounds like one of those invented Shakespeare terms that relates to 'Sophia'.
