I actually have no idea why people hate Phantom Menace so much. I really like that film.

I mean I could list about 147 reasons right now, but I think it’s pretty evident to about 99% of the rest of the population.

I’ll say this for it - it has maybe the sharpest cinematography of any of the Star Wars movies, outside of Empire. You sure can see the difference between 1 and 2, Phantom was 35mm and the Clones was digital and looks 1/4 as good.
