Reminder to Joe Cumia: Getting thrown off stage by BOC for being too drunk to play does not make you in "the business".

The best musicians — real musicians — know restraint, whether if it be Louis Armstrong, J.J. Cale, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, etc. If they go on stage with their heroes they sure aren’t going to distract from who they are sitting in with.

Joe, it’s what’s in between the notes that matters. You should realize this after so many years in the business. I guess bovines aren’t known for their restraint.

You ever see the Concert for George? Ya gotcha Eric Clapton, ya Tom Petty, ya Jeff Lynne from ELO, ya Gary Brooker, ya Billy Preston, Ringo, and Paul, ya Monty Python, ya Eric Idle, Terrys Gilliam and Jones, ya Michael Palin, and ya Tom Hanks

and

BOOM

You have a dozen of the most famous entertainers of all time acting like professionals not prima donnas.

All insanely successful individuals playing in a 'super group' like professionals.

None of them hogging the limelight, playing over each other, playing intentionally louder than the other, 'accidentally' playing the wrong part, 'accidentally' fat finger fuck up a basic blues solo, or a backup guitar tech come to play him off while threatening to slit his throat with a stone cold expression of 100% seriousness.

Anyway, I'd give pretty much anything to have a "SlowBroJoe fucks up famous concerts" as a bit.
