OnA used a lot of prepburger stuff throughout their careers too. Off the top of my head, the 100 grand and Dragon Wagon callers were both fake. Terry Cliffford never had to stoop that low to get listeners. She knows that if you treat listeners as equals and with respect then the ratings will follow. While Opie learned from a hack like Brother Wease, hence him being atrocious at radio and life.

The old WNEW show was usually good between 2-4, but after 4 they'd start with the sex-oriented stuff which was almost always really annoying and not worth listening to.
