They suck. Look at those comedy store lineups. They love to say that they’re stacked with monsters and killers. But when you look it’s mostly just famous hacks. They’re famous for shit they do other than standup. Bunch of podcasters & sitcom & movie stars moonlighting as standups because they heard Netflix is handing out millions for shitty standup specials. They don’t even give you notes! Oh, that’s good, that means you can be super edgy then, right? Oh, no, no, silly boy, no notes means we don’t even have to try to be funny at all and they’ll still air it anyway! And then you have all the mediocrities Rogan has propped up and made famous because he wants to casting couch their twink behinds. And then you have the Sebastians and Chris D’Elias doing their cheap Dane Cook knockoff acts. The decade is thankfully ending. The comedy boom birthed by podcasts will die off soon. The Comedy Store needs to go back to being a poorly managed shithole like when worthless Mitzi Shire was ruining it.

Burr’s stand up is still a cut above the rest. Maybe that’s more telling of the state of comedy in 2019, but I still think he’s funny. He just sucks on podcasts and any forum where he goes on about his dumb wife or being a dad

They all piss me off but Chris D'elia does a specific thing that pisses me off. Any time he says something he finds funny he gets stuck in a loop of repeating it in different voices (well the same voice with different inflections) with different silly faces for at least a full minute. I don't even need to mention that he's a rich kid that has never had to do anything.
