I tried to check out Monty Python one time because a few of my friends would always reference it and say how great it was, but I just couldn't get into it.
I had never watched any of their stuff before and I started with The Life Of Brian. I got like 20-30 minutes into it and had to back out. Maybe I just picked a bad movie to start with and the other ones are better, but I just didn't find it funny at all.
It's an acquired taste. You might have been better starting with one of their movies like 'And Now For Something Completely Different' which is a collection of sketches more than a film. It's also very English.
Ok, that was actually kind of funny. I guess I just didn't get far enough along to see it.
If I ever give it another shot, I'll definitely go with the sketch stuff instead of starting with another one of their movies. Thanks for the tip, man.
I really don't like the way that kid's looking at me. It's making me very uncomfortable.
And I don't know if that's supposed to be a poodle or a cat with a fancy wig on, but I'm positive I've seen it's face in an awful Ambien nightmare before.
I just plain don't care for this painting, and I'm very upset with you for showing it to me.
