Regardless, do you know how fucked up you have to be (Believe me, lifers in the service industry are always fucked up) to be killed by an antiquated machine as a dumbwaiter? If it’s not OD’ing on badshit, these dudes are killed by the most basic equipment in a restaurant.
I just pictured someone sending in a midget to look up and see what the problem was, and then 200 pounds of dirty dishes come crashing down on that little guy's face. I'm not sure if that's how it went down but I think I'm close.
